Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Contract Program Planner, to work at a well-established integrated oil and natural gas company, in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for integrated portfolio program planning for programs Well Delivery Sustaining Capital Projects

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with project management, execution teams, enabling functions, and business opportunity management to develop integrated multi-discipline project schedules aligned to project scope and objectives
  • Engage stakeholders to maintain a coordination schedule in Primavera P6 on a weekly basis with interim updates or scenario development as required
  • Optimize the project schedule to reflect the appropriate level of detail to support project planning and execution, cost forecasting, and interface management
  • Ensure project schedules are coded per the work breakdown structure and project requirements
  • Ensure schedule logic is accurate and activities are achievable
  • Set up, facilitate and manage meetings with the different disciplines in a timely and efficient manner
  • Support project management reporting including cost and schedule updates
  • Compile and review the monthly project/program report for Well Delivery and Program management
  • Maintain Project Change management, trend log and approval documentation
  • Prepare and provide analysis or project execution dashboards and performance reports to include project KPI’s, project progress, project costs, project changes and risk
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Execution Team and enable functions to ensure schedules are integrated across multiple programs
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • A related field experience or technical diploma is preferred
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with drilling programs, is needed
  • A minimum of 5 years of Project Planning utilizing Primavera P6 is needed
  • More than 5 years of experience in multiple project control disciplines is an asset
  • SAP skills are considered an advantage
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills are crucial for success
  • Well-developed communication and interpretation skills are needed
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
