To be considered for this Contract Specialist role, you must have previous experience in a Health Care Materials Management environment or at least 5 years experience in a procurement environment.

Contract Specialist Responsibilities:
• Lead and facilitate competitive bidding project in collaboration with our health system partners
• Ensure compliance with organization policies and trade agreements
- Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Generate reports, contract management, and analyze information in various forms and complexity;
• Provide project planning; coordinate and facilitate meetings, implement procurement projects, coordinate and communicate outcomes
• Lead the evaluation proposal process, make recommendations to appropriate provincial committees, facilitate decisions and outcomes, in order to assist our health system partners in making decisions regarding provincial contracts
Contract Specialist Qualifications:
• 3 yrs experience in a health care management environment or 5 yrs experience in a procurement environment
• Preference will be give to candidates that have a Designation in Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or Certified Purchasing Buyer (CPPB) designation from the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing.
• Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Project Planning and/or Supply Chain Management
