Adecco is currently hiring for a full time permanent Controller job in Edmonton, AB. To qualify for the Controller role, the ideal candidate will be CPA designated and possess a minimum of 5+ years of senior accounting experience. Reporting directly to the President, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department for our well established private industry industrial service provider who is offering a competitive total compensation package.

Controller Requirements:

Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and management reports
Maintain and develop systems, controls, and procedures to enhance efficiency
Ensure financial records are maintained in accord with GAAP
Providing support to the Owner in the areas of tax planning, financing strategies, corporate restructuring, IT, and administration
Communication with auditors, banks, and CRA
Prepare internal reports and analysis
Cash flow and treasury management
Consolidation of financial statements and notes
Train, coach and mentor a small team of accounting professionals


Possess your CPA designation
5+ years of experience in a senior accounting position
Experience working in a fast paced industrial setting
Proficient in the MS Office suite of software
Proficient in ERP systems
Strong organizational and management skills
Strategic planner who is self motivated and career minded
A proven leader who is self directed, self disciplined, engaging and professional
