COO/General Manager l $90K - $120K+Full Benefits l Richmond, BC | Permanent

Adecco has been engaged with an investment holdings client is building a community with major leisure and housing attraction points in Richmond, BC. They are seeking for a COO/General Manager to ensure the efficient operations with all departments and promote the attraction points to the general public.


Provide departments with required human resource management.
Prepare all annual operational and capital departmental budgets. Ensure that all departmental budgets are strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled.
Prepare overall business plan, marketing plan, sales plan and 3-5
year plan.
Install and maintain all accounting procedures and systems in cooperation
with the corporate controller
Monitor all payroll scheduling and costs.
Approve all purchases and cheque disbursements.
Prepare, in conjunction with the departments, all sales, costs and
forecast projections
Meet all deadlines for the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements
Create and implement monthly and annual advertising/media campaign and notify local communities to constantly drive new business. Plan and implement all marketing (or promotional) programs
Establish policies & procedures, wage, compensation, benefit programs, job descriptions and personnel procedures.
Coach and train departmental heads
When required, attend social events such as trade shows etc.


Ideally 3+ years of experience in managing other managers
Have experience in managing a golf course
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Have experience in promoting and marketing
Experience with P&L and budgeting.
