Adecco is hiring temporary part-time Costume/Dresser Assistant for a team to work on Cirque du Soleil`s Alegria production in Toronto, ON from September 2019 until December 2019. To be considered for the Costume/Dresser Assistant position you need to be flexible to work afternoons, evenings and weekends. you will be responsible for maintaining and assisting the performers in changing into costumes and repairing costumes through hand and machine stitching. The pay rate for this position is $16.57/hr.

Hours: 1 pm – 9 pm (Tuesday – Sunday)
General Responsibilities for Costume/Dresser Assistant
- Daily ironing and steaming of costumes
- Assisting artists with changing into costumes
- Washing costumes daily
- Help in sewing and do hand stitching as required
- General maintenance and cleanliness of the area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for this role:
- Preferred 3-6 months experience as a professional costume dresser
- Must be able to use sewing machines and able to do hand stitch
- Able to lift up to 30lbs
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible to work afternoons, evenings and weekends
