Adecco is currently hiring for a Credit Specialist to work in Downtown Toronto. To qualify for the Credit Specialist role, you must have excellent verbal & written communication skills, process improvement skills and a high level of accuracy. We are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented individuals who have accounting experience including accounts receivable, the ability to read financial statements, such as balance sheets, as well as perform critical thinking analysis. Our client is a large, reliable, and reputable organization within the financial services industry. This Credit Specialist role in Toronto is a 7-month contract position, paying $18.54/hour.
Credit Specialist Responsibilities include:
• Underwriting annual renewals for targeted commercial financial borrowers
• Validating files to ensure they qualify for centralized review based on identified criteria
• Completing Facility Risk rating based on established policies and procedures for targeted borrowers
• Completing all credit data required to complete the annual review in the adjudication platform
• Contributing to a positive and fun work environment
Credit Assistant Qualifications are: 
• Undergrad degree in Finance or Commerce (MBA new grads can apply)
• CSC/CFA designation an asset
• Accounting, business lending, or commercial support experience
• Bilingualism an asset
• High level of organization and attention to details
• Previous banking experience with credit cards or over drafts is a plus
