Customer Service Coordinator/Order Management

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Customer Service Coordinator for our client, a well-established company located in Markham, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for daily order/data entry and communicating with customers via phone and email. If you have at least 2-3 years of experience in customer service or inside sales, this job is for you!

  • Job responsibilities include:

  • Entering daily orders from customers through manual or EDI (electronic data interface)
  • Entering sample requests from customers to warehouses
  • Responding to any customer inquiries about product or service problems via email or phone in a timely manner
  • Checking daily open-order and backorder reports to ensure products are being shipped
  • Working with Team Leader for order availability/out of stock/shipping or other questions
  • Working with internal systems such as Winsol and incoming new ERP system
  • Communicating internally with sales employees as needed for customer order questions
  • Processing warranty and defective product claims
  • Understanding all pricing processes while working with Finance as needed
  • Escalating any customer concerns when needed
  • Assisting other team members with daily distribution of work and duties
  • Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Degree is preferred
  • 2-3 years of similar customer service or inside sales experience
  • Experience with order entry and a variety of in-office customer support functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for any email/phone inquiries
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn in-house systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and inputting accuracy required for manual/EDI order processing
  • Experience working in a team environment demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Must be able to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
