  • Pay rate: $20.30/hour

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing clerical support duties associated with Waste Management Customer Service by receiving, investigating, and resolving customer enquiries and complaints
  • Providing administrative and clerical support to facilitate the efficient operations of Programs
  • Updating and creating spreadsheets, labels, charts, letters, memos, forms, and documents using Microsoft Excel and Word. Systems used include the computerized database (INFOR) system for data input and use of the GIS mapping system
  • Liaising with all levels of management, elected officials, other departments, outside agencies and contractors by telephone, in person, and email
  • Dispatching and providing support via a two-way radio to the infield Collection staff and Supervisors
  • Receiving, assessing, and responding to generic email accounts using Microsoft Outlook to provide follow-up on customer enquiries including, but not limited to, missed bulk or garbage pick-up, leaf, and yard waste program
  • Maintaining accurate records management systems including opening, closing, and filing departmental correspondence files
  • Other customer service and clerical support tasks
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of Customer Service Data Clerk experience
  • Excellent client services skills
  • Great team Player
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong English skills - reading, writing and verbal
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
