Adecco is currently hiring for a Customer Service Manager in Richmond, BC. To be considered for this Customer Service Manager role, you must have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience in a team lead and customer service capacity.

Our client is a very successful family-owned organic food producer who prides themselves in environmental and social sustainability. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Operations, the Customer Service Manager will lead the Customer Service Representative team who focus on inventory supplies for company stakeholders and clients.

This is a full-time permanent position. To be considered for this position the candidate must be team-orientated with a “hands on” management style.

 Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:

  • Review management and team processes/procedures while providing effective solutions
  • Develop the overall Customer Service strategy in alignment with the Global Sales and Operations teams that supports the customer journey and/or customer experience
  • Propose and achieve customer service levels and work towards continuous operation improvements
  • Manage Customer Service-related questions and escalations (e.g. stock availability, allocations, complex customer questions, operations for new and developing business models)
  • Develop a strong Customer Service Team providing ongoing coaching and support
  • Work on continuous improvements throughout the customer service order process
  • Build relationships with logistics and warehouse distribution team members
  • Create a link between Product Management, Development and other company/cross-functional stakeholders and clients to ensure service and knowledge content are delivered on time, with high quality

Customer Service Manager Qualifications:

  • 7 years’ experience in customer service and/or business development
  • Previous experience improving processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Sales, Administration and Food industry experience considered an asset
  • Team working skills are essential with the ability to create an energetic environment in order to achieve success
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable multi-tasking several projects in conjunction with normal activities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in effective, concise fashion in both verbal and written format
  • Experience interacting with external and internal customers/stakeholders, including Executives
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to apply a systematic approach to problem solving through analysis of the problem and evaluation of alternative solutions
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial, start-up environment with a can-do attitude
