Our client located in the South-East end of Ottawa, is looking for a Customer Service / Order Desk Manager to join their company and be a key contributor in their success. The ideal Customer Service / Order Desk Manager will be someone who can lead they Order Desk team while participating on the management team of the company, manage the relationships with many key accounts and handle customer concerns. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is team oriented, positive, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Customer Service / Order Desk Manager Job Responsibilities:


• Be the go-to person for all matters involving client order management
• Manage relationships with many key accounts
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate where required
• Respond to in person, phone and email requests from clients
• Educate clients on additional products and services available
• Verify inventory levels, prepare quotations and process orders for clients
• Maintain a high level of order entry accuracy and a level of service that is second to none
• Other duties as assigned



Customer Service / Order Desk Manager Requirements:

• Strong written and spoken communication skills – an ability to style-flex as needed
• A lead by example leadership style with a high level of detail
• Must be bilingual (French/English)
• Must be available to work some Saturdays
• Intermediate computer skills
• Able to multi-task and maintain accurate records in a high-volume environment
• Passion for superior customer service and sales
• Broad understanding of order desk operations is a strong asset
