Adecco is currently looking for a Customer Service & Remarketing Advisor for our automotive financial services client in North York, ON. The Customer Service & Remarketing Advisor reports to the Customer Service Operations Manager and is responsible for customer service, remarketing and collections activities made through inbound/outbound phone/email contact with Canadian retail and lease customers. This is a long term temporary opportunity working Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm (or 10am-7pm) and offers competitive compensation dependent on years of experience.

Customer Service & Remarketing Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Collection and maintenance of delinquent accounts with the goal of minimizing the number of past due accounts as well monitor the overall delinquency for Canada.
  • Ability to utilize skip tracing tools (i.e. Credit Bureaus, Equifax and Internet).
  • Ensure collection efforts are conducted within company guidelines and various Canadian province statutory regulations.
  • Provide professional and courteous assistance in daily business interactions with both internal and external customers, dealers, vendors, and outside companies.
  • Provide high quality and timely interaction customers, dealers, and vendors to contribute to a first rate customer experience.
  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound call servicing while maintaining the department KPI’s.
  • Manage the inbound shared email address and properly delegate tasks and escalations.
  • Responsible for handling lease end accounts within 120 days of maturity to ensure the timely return of the vehicle, payoff, or other options prior to the scheduled maturity date.
  • Discounts contracts in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with all federal, provincial, and local regulations in regards to finance tolerance and taxation.
  • Provides competent dealer service. Resolves any issues related to dealer reserve/payment, documents preparation and province-specific taxation.
  • Provide coordination of remarketing activities with all  dealerships.
  • Maintain follow-up for the collection of excess wear & tear, mileage, termination and any other outstanding fees.
  • Follow up with dealer charge backs collections and correct application of funds.
Customer Service & Remarketing Advisor Qualifications:
  • Commitment to excellence - quality driven.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • 2+ years’ experience in customer service.
  • 1 year auto finance experience.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school graduate, University or College degree preferred; or equivalent experience.
  • PC experience required (Windows, Word, Lotus, Outlook).
