Adecco is currently recruiting Bilingual Customer Service Representatives for our top insurance company client in Halifax, NS. To qualify for this role, you must have excellent communication skills in French and English, have an empathetic personality and be comfortable to learn new computer software.

This is a 1 yr contract with a high chance of turning into a permanent position and it pays $19.50/hr.

Candidate should be available to work shifts Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 9:00 p.m. AST

Bilingual Customer Service Rep Job Description

The CSR is responsible for providing “one stop contact” on both general customers inquires and claim related issues. Responsible to provide excellent customer service on specific product lines and/or a specialized function, by handling inbound calls and all related investigation. Respond to calls related to claim issues, problem solving inquiries, while maintaining established service standards.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of service to external and internal customers for all mainstream products
  • Respond to all customer service inquiries, answering a standard number of calls and utilizing administrative expertise
  • Act as primary contact for customers’ requests by researching the problem/issue through interaction with multiple internal customers in order to find the appropriate information and solution
  • Process transactions on specific product lines and maintain records accurately within established standards utilizing existing technology

Customer Service Representative Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize under stressful and changing circumstances
  • High level of phone confidence and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service negotiation skills with the ability to maintain a positive customer relationship
  • Good with technology
  • Good listener and Empathetic personality
  • Knowledge of Insurance is an asset
  • Keen attention to detail with a customer centric approach
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
