Our client, an established and growing organization is looking to add some new, passionate and hard working team members to its small, corporate Call Center in Etobicoke, ON (work from home to start).  The team is smaller than most call centers and the fit within this team is also key to the success of one's candidacy. The working hours for this Customer Service Representative job opening would be Monday through Friday and the shifts would be between 8am and 9pm – 36.25 hours per week and you must be flexible to work rotating shifts within these hours.  The location has free parking (or is TTC accessible) and the company offers an annualized salary of $39K plus bonus, work-life balance, excellent benefits and additional perks! 


Some of the duties of the Customer Service Representative job opening in Etobicoke, ON may include but not be limited to;

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls in an efficient and professional manner
  • Respond to questions, inquiries, issues and problems resolving them in a relevant timeframe
  • Upsell and cross sell additional products
  • Convince those calling in with questions about potential purchase which products might benefit them best
  • Document all calls in their system as well as update information such as addresses, additions/removals, new customer sales, etc.
  • Follow up calls on anything outstanding where required
  • Respond to some email questions/concerns/updates where required
  • Additional tasks as requested.
  • Some of the required skills and experience for the Customer Service Representative job opening in Etobicoke, ON includes, but are not limited to;

  • At least 1-2 years of Customer Service, Call Center or even some Sales experience (upsell/cross sell)
  • Consistent work history with some longevity in your work experience
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Ability to think on your feet and with an enthusiastic and positive approach
  • Dynamic drive to have successful calls on a consistent basis
  • Self-motivated and also able to work within a team environment, although a lot of the work is independent
