Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Customer Service Representative- Logistics  to work full-time hours for our client located in Mississauga ON.   • Availability Required: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

  • Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with carriers (via phone, email or fax) in a professional and timely manner to confirm final mile deliveries arrive on time
  • Track and Trace large volume of customer orders
  • Entering, updating, and processing customer order statuses on various interfaces.
  • Ensure daily delivery schedules are adhered to, and all necessary documentation is returned to head office in an accurate and timely manner
  • Handle client complaints provide appropriate solutions and alternative within the time limits: follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers and ensure customers are well informed.
  • Research and resolve all transactional problems to ensure reporting is reconciled in a timely manner
  • Maintain co-operative working relationships among team both internal and external
  • Previous experience in the logistic/supply chain industry is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, with aptitude learn new software and systems
  • Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Must have previous experience in Logistics -Track and Trace
  • 2-3 years customer service experience
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently or within an integrated team environment
  • Attention to detail
