Adecco is currently hiring a temporary Customer Service Representative to work full-time hours for our client, a well-established transportation provider, located in Markham, ON. Get your foot in the door with our client, who values growth for its employees and has a friendly working environment.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Provide highest level of customer service to all customers
  • Answer inbound calls in a busy call center
  • Answer customer inquiries
  • Provide quotes, check availability, and confirm bookings
  • Ask questions and extract required details from customers for booking inquiries
  • Respond to customer inquiries and problems by providing timely and accurate information or directing inquires to appropriate staff member
  • Treat each customer and staff member with courtesy, dignity and respect of privacy
  • Meet or exceed established performance requirements and follow and execute departmental procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Previous experience in a high-volume call center is an asset
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Good knowledge of Ontario geography is an asset
  • Must have passion for providing excellent customer service and ability to listen and execute the customer’s needs
  • Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required
  • Able to prioritize work with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, professional and friendly telephone manner
  • Able to handle stressful situations with a positive outcome
  • Work well under pressure & meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of Product Supply function would be helpful, but not mandatory.
  • SAP knowledge is an asset
