Adecco is currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative-Messenger in Downtown Toronto. The messenger's duties involve delivering and picking up items (on foot) to/from various firms in the downtown core. To be considered for this Customer Service Representative-Messenger role, you must able to communicate well with clients and comfortable traveling around downtown Toronto area. TTC pass will be provided by our client. 

This is a 6-month contract position and has a pay rate $17.00/hour 

Customer Service Representative-Messenger Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and picking up items (on foot) to/from various firms in the downtown core
  • Taking direction from an Expediter on what to deliver and when.
  • Maintaining various logs of items received/delivered
  • Serving the counter (accepting deposits, certifying checks, clients can be picking up checks) 
  • Performing custodial duties (part of the stock security) – usually is if someone is away. 

Customer Service Representative-Messenger Qualifications:

  • Comfortable traveling (TTC pass will be provided)
  • Basic PC skills, such as Outlook and Word
  • Be prompt and conscientious
  • Have patience and understanding
  • Able to communicate well with peers and clients
  • Nice to have knowledge of the financial industry
