Our client, an established and growing custom service organization is looking to add some new, passionate and hardworking team members to its Customer Service Representative team in North York, ON  The team is made up with a great team and the fit within is also key to the success of one's candidacy. The working hours for this Customer Service Representative job opening in North York, ON would be Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm.  The location near Dufferin and Steeles/Finch has free parking (or is TTC bus accessible) and the company offers an annualized salary between $35-39K plus benefits that kick in after the probationary period, and a relaxed yet dynamic work environment! 

 

Some of the duties of the Customer Service Representative job opening in North York, ON may include but not be limited to:

 

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls and web/email inquiries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Provide information on product and service offerings while making suggestions based on their individual business needs
  • Upsell and cross sell additional products where possible
  • Document all calls in their system as well as update information such as addresses, additions/removals, new customer sales, etc.
  • Order taking and processing; keeping track of this start to finish and provide updates to the client while ensuring full customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with internal departments and with the customer (via email and phone) to ensure timelines and acceptance of services is at the forefront
  • Invoice and collection related functions when required and additional tasks as requested.

    Some of the required skills and experience for the Customer Service Representative job opening in North York, ON includes, but are not limited to:

     

  • At least 2 years of Customer Service – this can include retail, hospitality, call center, sales associate etc
  • Completed post-secondary education; Diploma or Degree
  • Exceptional English communication skills, spoken and written
  • Ability to think on your feet and with an enthusiastic and positive approach
  • Dynamic drive to have successful calls on a consistent basis; this includes being highly organized with strong follow through and follow up focus
  • Knowledge of Adobe or QuickBooks an asset; comfort in Word, Excel, Outlook required
