Our client, a stable, established insurance firm is looking to add some new, passionate and hard-working Customer Service Representatives to their team. The working hours for this Customer Service Representative job opening in Toronto, ON would be Monday through Friday and the shifts would be between 8am and 5pm – 37.5 hours per week – please note this is a hybrid working position that will require you to be in office at least 1-day/week (and flexible to more when required).  The office is located on the TTC subway line downtown Toronto. 
 
Some of the duties of the Customer Service Representative job opening in Toronto, ON may include but not be limited to;

  • Handle a high volume of complex inbound calls in an efficient and professional manner
  • Respond to questions, inquiries, issues and problems resolving them in a relevant timeframe
  • Equally respond to emails and other written forms of communication to similar questions/inquiries; this includes administrative forms and more
  • Document all calls in their system; multitasking and ensure timely follow up
  • Communicate in a professional manner as you are working with business professionals from the financial/insurance/legal fields
  • Follow up calls on anything outstanding where required
  • Additional tasks as requested.
  • Some of the required skills and experience for the Customer Service Representative job opening in Toronto, ON includes, but are not limited to;

  • 2-3+ years of Customer Service experience, preferably from a Call Center setting in the professional services arena (such as legal, financial/banking, insurance etc)
  • Consistent work history with some longevity in your work experience
  • Exceptional English communication skills, spoken and written
  • Strong MS Office 365 skills including Teams
  • Ability to think on your feet and with an enthusiastic and positive approach
  • Dynamic drive to resolve complex cases and have successful calls on a consistent basis
  • Self-motivated and also able to work within a team environment
  • Someone keen to learn and take on a career opportunity
