Adecco is currently hiring for a long term Temporary of a Customer Service Specialist in Richmond Hill. To qualify for this role, you must have experience in SAP, sales administration, order entry and customer service. This role involves accurate and timely completion of the order entry process for both domestic and international customers, and solving problems and answering questions as expeditiously as possible. Also, provide back up to RMA processes and shipping/receiving duties when needed. Our client is one of the leading sensor manufacturers as well as a technology and market leader.

Pay rate: $20 – 22 / hour

Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:

 

  1. Process existing orders and contracts.
  2. Performs all tasks associated with proper and timely administration of a customer orders.
  3. Coordinates with all internal groups to assume adequate communication to achieve acceptable service levels and provide continuing visibility of contractual obligations.
  4. Acts as a liaison to assure timely and efficient administration of orders.
  5. Coordinates communication between Factory and Customer, Sister Companies, and/or Field Sales.
  6. Understand the RMA process and policies for customer returns and repairs; communicate these policies to customers (including proper account setups).
  7. Create and process invoices and debit and credit memos; review and approve invoices and credit memos as appropriate prior to processing.
  8. Follow up on accounting requests.
  9. Credit card processing and record maintenance.
  10. Proactively identify situations that might adversely affect relationship with customers (e.g. product availability problems or revised shipping dates) and communicate them.

 

Customer Service Specialist Qualifications:

 

Education: Requires a 2 College degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required in sales administration, order entry or customer service and experience in SAP.

Job Specific Abilities:

  • Understanding of business processes, good communication skills, superior telephone techniques and excellent people management skills required.
  • Timely, polite, sincere, dedicated, accurate, resourceful, diligent, positive and calm under pressure.
  • Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Office, Email applications and ability to develop skills in ERP, CRM and Web site navigation.

Computer Skills: Computer proficiency with Microsoft and Internet applications

Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

Other Requirements: Legally permitted to work in Canada
