Adecco is currently hiring for Temporary Customs’ Clerks for our clients in Calgary, AB. To qualify for this role, we are looking for a variety of years of experience in the transportation industry, and intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals, open to contract roles with experience in customs and dispatching.

 

Customs Clerk Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring goods and services meet regulatory requirements
  • Confirm and ensure accuracy of all documents required for delivery and preparing shipping documentation
  • Dispatching
  • Administrative, clerical and data entry duties as required
  • Work with Accounts Payable and Receivables as well as invoicing processes as necessary
  • Interacting with delivery drivers to ensure scheduling of deliveries
  • Management of paperwork for transportation and customs
  • Customs Clerk Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in dispatching and in transportation industry
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
