Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary to possibly permanent Cylinder Bar Coder to work full-time hours for our client in Calgary, AB. This role will require the successful candidate to transcribe information already contained on a Cylinder and enter that information into a handheld inventory tracking device.   

  • Pay rate: $26/hour
  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Availability Required: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary to possibly Permanent | Full-time

  • Responsibilities:
  • Registration of compressed gas cylinder assets based on unique characteristics of each asset
  • Use of a handheld device for data entry by using prepopulated drop-down menus depending on asset type.
  • Cylinder asset maintenance / cleaning, and moving to ensure visibility of relevant information as required
  • Application of physical barcode decal to each asset
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager
  • Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • High-school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with basic technology
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
