Data Entry / Customer Service

Adecco is currently hiring for a Data Entry / Customer Service Representative in Ottawa ON. The Inside Sales Representative is in direct contact with purchasing, sales force and the customers over the telephone and in person. Responsible to assess the job requirements and effectively process inquiries and orders and to expedite delivery of products to satisfy the needs of the customer.

Responsibilites:

  • Assess job requirements and verifies stock availability of orders and offering pricing terms
  • Process orders to completion and verify with a generated computer ticket to ensure order has been accepted
  • Prepare quotations on urgent contracting jobs offering pricing, delivery and availability of non- stock items
  • Offer product knowledge and information to customers and confirm details of delivery according to scheduled times and commitment dates
  • Other duties assigned may include (not limited to) providing
  • Qualifications:

  • Ability to read instructions and memorandums and interpret product specification sheets.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondences to customer.
  • Able to communicate effectively over the telephone to customers providing product knowledge and information
  • Approachable and easy to talks to and able to build client relationships
  • Strong listening skills, able to read cues and enjoys speaking with others
  • Must be versatile and able to pivot as needs change
  • The ideal candidate will enjoy a challenge and have a positive attitude
  •  

    Education Requirements:

    High school diploma plus a minimum of three (3) years related experience in the industry, or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
