Adecco is currently recruiting for a Developer - Intermediate for a 6-Month contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Mississauga, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it.
The Developer - Intermediate will have the following responsibilities:
-Work directly with the client and colleagues to define solution requirements and software specifications;
-Work with incident management software to investigate and resolve issues with various applications;
-Provide work assessments and estimates in a timely manner, and communicates deliverable status to the Application’s technical lead;
-Provide work assessments and estimates in a timely manner;
-Work with incident management software to investigate and resolve issues with various applications;
-Communicate with clients and co-workers to define solution requirements and software specifications;
-Forecast deliverable status;
-Deliver on commitments or advises on advance of potential issues;
-Support Quality Assurance testing on web/software applications;
-Develop web/software applications as defined by customer requirements;
-Support Sprint activities.
The Developer - Intermediate must meet the following mandatory requirements:
-Hold a college Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science or related field;
-3+ years of practical experience in a related position;
-Experience using Javascript (AngularJS, NodeJS);
-Experience with SpringBoot, Hibernate, webservices ( Restful APIs);
-Technical Knowledge Requirements (Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Computer Engineering).
Nice to have:
-Experience with Docker;
-Experience with AWS Lambda/ Fargate/ AuroraDB, PostGres DB, Swagger;
-Capability to work in a team setting, in an Agile environment;
-Good communication skills
