Adecco is currently recruiting for a Director of Finance - Bilingual. This is a full-time permanent role to work with our client located in Gatineau, QC. The Director of Finance - Bilingual is responsible for the planning, budget management and control of funding for all projects and ongoing operations. Moreover, he/she will work with management to develop operating budgets for the division.
The Director of Finance - Bilingual will have the following responsibilities:
- Planning, budget management and control of funding for projects and ongoing construction operations;
- Preparation of financial reports, including cost and profitability analysis;
- Production of financial statements;
- Develop and maintain analytical models for all development projects;
- Ensure effective control procedures and the monitoring of results (dashboards and performance indicators);
- Develop operating budgets for the division;
- Management of accounting team members.

The Director of Finance - Bilingual must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline;
- 5+ years financial management/controlling experience;
- 2+ years as Director of Finance or in a similar role;
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices;
- Professional accounting designation (CA/CGA/CMA) is a distinctive advantage;
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred;
- Bilingual French/English (or English with conversational French);
- Proficient use of MS Office and financial management software;
- Team player with strong leadership abilities.
