Adecco is currently hiring a Bilingual Disability Administrator in Halifax, NS for a top insurance company. This is a 1 yr contract that pays $19.50/hr.

The ideal candidate must be
-Bilingual (English and French),
-have minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative/clerical role
-Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes

Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, must be flexible to work additional hours, with notice, as business needs dictate.

Start Date:       1/21/19

End Date:        1/20/20

As a Bilingual Disability Administrator, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

•Supporting Disability Case Managers on a variety of tasks

•Managing mail distribution as required

•Providing front line customer service by telephone

•Accountability for administrative duties and follow ups with claimants for disability paperwork

Bilingual Disability Administrator Qualifications

•Post-secondary education (would be an asset)

•Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative/clerical role (would be an asset)

•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes

•Excellent organizational skills

•Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

• Solid office administration skills

•Strong customer service experience in a demanding environment

•Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

•Analytical skills with a close attention to detail

•Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Deadline driven

Additional helpful attributes:

•Insurance claims knowledge or experience

• Knowledge of Anatomical and Medical terminology
