Adecco is currently hiring for a Disability Quality Assurance Specialist (Mental Health) to service one of the leading Canadian-based financial services group. This role is a 1-year contract based in Vancouver and pays $33.85/hour
The Disability Quality Assurance Specialist responsibilities are: 
- Provide technical claims assessment and support to Long-term Disability, Short-term Disability and Absence Management Consultation Services Case Managers on Mental Health disability cases
- Provide training on ongoing changes or updated case management requirements
- Provide ad hoc support to supervisors, plan administrators, Disability Management consultants, Rehab Specialists and Sales
- Support any ongoing strategy development on managing Mental Health Disability claims
- Develop partnership with Psychiatric consultants
- Facilitate communication with the mental health community and individual practitioners
The Disability Quality Assurance Specialist qualifications are: 
- Master’s degree in health sciences (or equivalent) required
- Work experience in the clinical field of Mental Health
- Experience in disability case management
- Volunteerism in the mental health community
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written; French an asset
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and work in a team
- Solid working knowledge of PC applications and mainframe systems
- Strong evaluative abilities
- Healthy view and understanding of mental health and an ability to apply to disability claims management
- Aptitude for coaching and mentoring as well as training of employees
