Adecco is currently recruiting for an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. This is a one-year contract position to work with our client located in Brampton, ON. Ideal Candidate must have a security clearance or be eligible for one (Reliability Status).

The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate behaviors that support diversity, equity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.
  • Lead and manage change and provide a workplace culture and environment that is inclusive, diverse and ensures an optimal experience for our employees.
  • Research new and progressive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies and ideas.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to analyze and assess the impact and effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
  • Enables the national coordination and administration of the Crown Corporation’s ED&I programs under the direction of the Advisor, ED&I.
  • Coordinates national strategy across regions and corporate functions with a shared mandate to ensure a consistent approach to ED&I and the application of best practice.
  • The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or a similar discipline
  • 3-5 years human resources experience
  • Strong knowledge of current labor/employment laws, governmental compliance requirement and employment investigation practices: labor, workplace health and safety, human rights, and employment standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation &presentation;
  • Project management skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
