Adecco is currently hiring for a Document Scanning Clerk role in WATERLOO, ON. Our client is a top Insurance company.
Duration : 3 months assignment, strong possibility of extension.
Payrate : $14.00/hr.
Must have :  Previous experience using High-speed scanners and Admin experience.
Hours: 8:00 am -4:00 pm

The purpose of this position is to provide the Business Units electronic images on a timely basis.

This role is responsible for the opening, preparing and sorting of all mail by analyzing the content of the documents to identify to which Business area/work type it.

The candidate is required to provide the appropriate level of QC as well as excellent quality customer service. This role may also require performing document scanning and/or film/fiche scanning responsibilities on high speed scanners.

- Maintain a consistent workflow with the ability to set priorities and work within tight deadlines to meet all Service Level Agreements, allowing Business Units to process their work in timely manner.

Document Scanning Clerk - Job Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Competencies):

- Strong organizational and time management skills for a high volume, deadline driven environment.
- Critical attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to recognize a wide variety of documents.
- Works well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to manage fluctuating volumes of work.
- Working knowledge of AWD, CICS, Lotus Notes, IAS, Compass, InfoDirect,
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Demonstrated PC skills.

- Candidates do need to have some core soft skills and though this job is scanning documents, they do want to see candidates with potential to evolve within the company.
 - There are a lot of opportunities for future growth at company and even though this is entry-level, the goal is to retain the talent at the imaging tech level and help those contractors grow within company.

Document Scanning Requirements:
-Candidates should have strong excel and word experience.
-Candidates who have admin experience working in a fast-paced environment will be a fit for this role.
- Good people skills are important for this role, including a strong work ethic and positive work attitude.
