E-commerce Specialist

The E-commerce Specialist, reporting to the Vice President, Planning and Marketing, is a key member of the organization supporting all brands within the company. The role is responsible for all e-commerce tasks and initiatives.


E-commerce Specialist Responsibilities:


• Responsible for the direct e-commerce business for all brands; develop and execute plans to increase traffic and revenue, site conversion, and customer acquisition/retention.
• Responsible for site merchandising; create and analyze reports to optimize e-commerce assortments and product performance on all company websites.
• Responsible for site maintenance/updates, platform conversions, and system enhancements.
• Develop and manage three-year sales plans and targets by brand and product type.
• Develop and manage e-commerce expense budget and submit invoices for processing.
• Create and maintain promotional calendars and create promotion/coupon codes for promotional efforts and communicate with sales teams. Validate promotional campaigns, monitor performance, and provide reports with revenue results and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain site content calendars, partner with marketing team on main messaging and product focus for digital flagships and email marketing. Implement and ensure quality of site content updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
• Monitor web analytics to increase site speed, optimize navigation and customer paths, and checkout conversion rate to deliver continuous improvement and revenue growth.
• Develop and manage all B2C email marketing, from segmentation and testing to scheduling and deployment.

E-commerce Specialist Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a comparable role with a consumer goods company.
• Advanced knowledge of creating and managing websites utilizing salesforce or other similar e-commerce platform.
• Advanced computer skills are necessary.
• Must be a quick learner, proactive, pay attention to detail, and enjoy a busy environment.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify meaningfully patterns, derive business insights, and communicate findings in an organized and easy to interpret manner.
• Clear understanding of current and emerging e-commerce best practices.
• Excellent language and communication skills, both oral and written are vital, the ability to write and articulate clearly are a must.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and many deadlines throughout the week and month.
