Automation/Controls Engineer - Mining Sector (Ontario, CA) 

Adecco’s client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation/Controls Engineer in Ontario, CA to join their team on their operation in Southern Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and control systems, as well as experience working in the mining industry. 

Automation/Controls Engineer Responsibilities Are: 

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for mining operations.

  • Provide technical support for automation and control systems.

  • Develop and implement control strategies for mining equipment.

  • Write software programs for automated control systems.

  • Develop and maintain electrical and control schematics.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with control systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology advancements in automation and control systems.

 Automation/Controls Engineer Qualifications Are:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in automation and control systems.

  • Strong background in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI design.

  • Familiarity with mining industry equipment and processes.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
