Calling all Electrical Estimators! We have a fantastic opportunity waiting for someone like you. If you're a Journeyman Electrician or have a background in Electrical Engineering, with at least three years of experience in estimating electrical construction projects, then this is the job for you!
Adecco is currently hiring a permanent, full-time Electrical Estimator to work at a well-established company that provides heating solutions in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will work with the Sales and Engineering teams to prepare detailed quotations for commercial and industrial projects. The role includes reviewing technical drawings and tender packages.

  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent  

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare electrical quotes based on preliminary data for the commercial heating industry
  • Address customer inquiries about product solutions, pricing, and delivery dates
  • Assist the external sales team by providing quotation support, identifying opportunities, and building relationships with industry stakeholders
  • Analyze tender documents and prepare quotation proposals before the deadlines
  • Manage data for estimates, review submissions, and develop closing strategies
  • Review technical drawings for material takeoffs as needed

    • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Journeyman Electrician or post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering is required
  • Minimum three years of experience as an estimator for electrical construction projects is a must
  • Familiarity with medium to large electrical construction projects and current industry regulations
  • Knowledge of tender rules and processes, and electrical heat trace preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry products, practices, and standards
  • Experience with engineering software (CompuTrace) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
