Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, Electrician to work directly for our client located in Brantford, ON.  Our client is willing to look at New graduates as well as experienced and tenured Electricians (no more working outside in the elements of the Canadian winter/summers).

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily job tasks safely, effectively, with quality workmanship and on-time
  • Review / prepare electrical schematics and specifications
  • Ensure drawings and specifications will function as designed in environment intended for use
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical main and control circuits for motors and control devices for HVAC systems
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
  • Test the equipment for proper performance
  • Perform other electrical related assigned work as job requires
  • Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation
  • Attend services calls when required
  • Ensure scrap and rework to a minimum - report scrap and/or rework immediately to supervisor
  • Complete all required paperwork daily (timecards, job worksheets etc.)
  • Ensure work area is clean, organized, and free of any safety hazards at all times
  • Attend / participate in weekly production meetings
  • Communicate immediately to supervisor should any problems arise with tasks assigned
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Must have your High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a graduate of Electrician’s trade school
  • Must be a Licensed/Ticketed electrician
  • Maintain an attitude of continuous improvement, always mindful to make changes and improvements that will increase yours and the company’s overall efficiency.
  • Be team oriented, working to the best of your ability to ensure the team goals and time lines for production are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain strong and effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Maintain and foster a positive work environment.
  • Promptly bring to the attention of your immediate supervisor any issues or concerns relating to the position and/or your performance.
  • Work within the safety policies written and issued by the company and report any safety concerns to your immediate supervisor.
  • Be a self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Effectively organize time to ensure all job duties are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
