Are you a licensed Electrician (309 or 442A) needed to join our client in picturesque Collingwood as their new electrician.
*open to newly licensed electricians that have hands on maintenance experience in manufacturing

The Role:
· Ensuring all tasks are completed in the safest manner possible
· Interpret schematics and electrical drawings to understand the system
· Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components
· Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows Ontario Electrical code and ESA
· Complete required documentation of repairs providing detailed work orders on CMSS software
· Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts and document if required
Qualifications:
· Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school required
· 309A or 442A Required
· 2+ years of electrical experience in a hands-on role
· Ability to navigate through PLC Programming (RSLogix 5000, SLC500, PLC5, Modicon, TI530)
· Experience with ABB robots (IRC5, S4 and S3); teach-routines, maintenance and repairs
· Familiar with motion controllers such as servos, VFDs, stepper motors and CNC equipment
· Comfortable in VFDs with regards of install & minor programming; primarily Schneider Altivar
· Comfortable reading and understanding electrical schematics, diagrams and manuals
· Experience building panels and other various electrical control construction tasks
· Understand PID loops and how to troubleshoot and diagnose
· Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials & equipment
· Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work
· Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
· Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
· Willing to work overtime
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
