This is a full time, stable and long term employment contract with no peak season, no ramp downs. Electronic Assembler Responsibilities:

  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position, solder and clean components on printed circuit boards
  • Use hand tools to solder, torque and crimp; place components such as resistors, diodes, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, wires and other electronic parts to designated locations or printed circuit board
  • Able to set up and calibrate mechanical assembly tools used in the assembly process
  • Able to perform a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications         
  • Read blueprints to solder and manually assemble electronic components onto circuit boards requiring fine hand assembly
  • Able to perform PTH (pin through hole) component insertion and other manual assembly operations prior to the soldering process on printed circuit boards

 

Electronic Assembler Skills/Requirements:

  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail     
  • Basic soldering experience would be preferred
  • Experience in reading blueprints an asset
  • Comfortable working using microscopes
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to work afternoon shift and willing to do overtime is an asset
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Able to stand/walk for entire shift and lift to 35lbs  
  • Clear criminal background and able to provide work history for the last five years

 

Electronic Assembler Shift timings:

Morning Shift:                   07:00am - 03:30pm | $15.00 / hour

Afternoon Shift:                03:30pm – 12:00am | $16.00 / hour

Night Shift:                         10:00pm – 06:30am | $16.50 / hour

 

As this position involves work that is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP), your employment offer is conditional upon the successful completion of a security assessment by Adecco and/or its authorized agents, per the Controlled Goods Regulations.
