Adecco St Lawrence has an exciting opportunity available for a direct hire Engineering Supervisor position with a growing company in the Kingston area.  Our Client is a Customer focused, innovative and forward thinking company with a passion to be the best in the industry.  If you are an Engineer with Supervisory experience who is looking for a dynamic new challenge then this is the career for you!

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Primary engineering contact
  • Liaison between sales team, customers, production and mechanical designers
  • Oversee, supervise and distribute workload among mechanical designers and clerks to meet approval, schedule and manufacturing releases
  • Develop new procedures to achieve design, BOM and release efficiencies
  • Work with production to ensure workflow is released in a timely basis to be able to meet manufacturing requirements
  • Review, approve and release drawings & BOM packages prior to releases
  • Maintain a log of reoccurring issue to establish best practices
  • Update Engineering files and logs

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering background
  • Experience with solid works and Cad based design programs
  • Electrical background engineering an asset
  • Minimum 3-5 years working on mechanical designs
  • HVAC design experience an asset
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role

Compensation Package:

  • $50,000 to $70,000 range depending on experience
