Adecco is currently recruiting for a temporary, full-time Equipment Planner (Auxiliary & Shovels) in Fort McMurray, AB, to work a 1- year contract at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding knowledge of MEM E2E Maintenance Program Component process and is familiar with mining equipment and components.

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM - 4 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all internal & external stakeholders are aligned and understand MEM Maintenance Program (PRP) Component Process E2E
  • Act as the one point of contact for all Major Component concerns in MEM and cross-functional teams and vendor
  • Participate in maintenance planning meetings
  • Provide feedback on component budget and hours
  • Collaborate with SCM on component master data accuracy
  • Provide Information – Maintenance Planning and Budget process
  • Facilitate the Ad-Hoc reporting for decision making /trends
  • Educate on components terms and condition and enable all issues related to them
  • Facilitate the MA sign off meetings after ensuring that company-vendor data are aligned
  • Track all CCOS for planned and break-in work ensuring they are complete with correct information.
  • Capture all CCOS data in a spreadsheet that will facilitate informed decision making and KPI development, Power BI development
  • Confirm accuracy of equipment and component SMR / GOH Hours
  • Ensure alignment of data between SAP, vendor and equipment software (visionlink, etc.) in collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendor
  • Provides weekly information to Maintenance Planning and Warranty Specialist
  • Track and report on component Early Failure Trends
  • Provide component information to SCM for Contract performance management  
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • An outstanding knowledge of MEM E2E Maintenance Program (PRP) Component process is needed
  • A good understanding of OEM / manufacturer’s contract terms, process and programs is a must
  • Should have a good understanding of mining equipment/components.
  • Some technical knowledge and experience in SAP, Power BI and Microsoft Office is appreciated
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and time management skills are desired
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
