Adecco is currently recruiting for an Estimator for a 6-months contract, with our private manufacturing Client in Ottawa, ON. 
The Estimator will have the following responsibilities:
-Produce and develop all proposals for existing and new clients;
-Work with Sales Team and proposal Manager to develop winning bids that meet specific customer requirements;
-Create proposals for fully customized fabricated metal product solutions;
-Assist the Product Fulfillment Team to ensure orders are delivered complete and on-time;
-Work with clients to understand their requirements and make value adding suggestions;
-Assist the Engineering Team with the development of production files.
The Estimator must meet the following mandatory requirements:
-Hold a post-secondary technical diploma or degree and/or equivalent working experience;
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an estimator;
-Experience with the complete development cycle of sheet metal-based products from conception to manufacture;
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook);
-Excellent written and oral communication skills;
-Skills as a creative team player in brainstorming to find solutions for specific customer application problems;
Nice to have:
-Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
-Ability to multi task and work under pressure;
-Strong time management, planning and organizational skills;
-Self-starter, customer service focused with a positive attitude.
