In this full-time, temp-to-permanent, career opportunity, you will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to a senior Executive along with some additional ad hoc support to a team diverse team in a fast paced, small, established not-for-profit company. As an Executive Administrative Assistant, you will use your skills and experience to provide high level support while multi-tasking and prioritizing the work and needs at hand. The Executive Administrative Assistant job opening in Scarborough, ON may include but are not limited to:
Provide high level calendar management with emphasis on proactive planning, scheduling internal and external client meetings and Board meetings including organizing agendas etc.
Draft and prepare correspondence, reports and create PowerPoint presentations daily
Attend Board and other meetings; responsible for taking minutes and sharing later (at least twice per month)
Manage expenses, enter and process expense reports with accuracy in a timely manner
Assisting with event planning and coordination throughout the year (moreso post-covid)
Communicating with clients via phone, in-person and email; this include internal and external clients
Perform various office administrative/coordinator functions; assist in the needs of a small office setting which can include but not be limited to, couriers, mail support, office supplies, etc.

Demonstrated Executive Assistant or Senior Administrative Assistant experience - preferably 3-5+ years directly related career experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Flexible and positive attitude, available for overtime and/or to attend evening Board and/or Committee meetings

Our client offers a positive, diverse, busy and dynamic work setting - true work hard-play hard settings with a close-knit team of driven professionals. This position is commencing on a temporary basis however our client is looking for a permanent solutions in 3-6 months for the right fit so they are keen to hire someone ready for their next career/home! The permanent salary is between $50-55K with health/medical benefits, free parking and some work-from-home options at present (likely full-time in the office for the first month then a split following).
