Adecco is currently recruiting for a temporary to permanent Executive Assistant, to work full-time hours for our client, a well-established law firm, located in Vancouver, BC. Get your foot in the door with our client, who values growth for its employees and has a friendly working environment.

  • Pay rate: $58,000-$85,000/year based on experience
  • Location: Vancouver, BC
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM- 4:30 PM
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide documentation assistance
  • Report monthly expense and travel and accommodation bookings
  • Source materials, and arrange hotel meeting rooms
  • Receive incoming calls
  • Prepare material for association and board meetings
  • Ordere office supplies and print labels
  • Provide administrative support to VP
  • Manage Emails and calendar
  • Arrange staff meetings, organize catering and set up audio/visual resources
  • Manage credit card expenses and monthly reconciliations
  • Maintain office inventory logs and assemble member packages
  • Accomplish all minute taking, and distribute committee materials and packages as required
  • Track and coordinate assigned projects and provide regular status reports
  • Review and proofread reports for editing and presentation purposes
  • Assist with research activities and compile information related to special projects
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Post-Secondary qualification in Business, Administration or a related degree is a must
  • 5 to 7 years of administrative experience or equivalent experience is required
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant is also required
  • Experience working with Boards, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
  • Prior exposure to event planning/management is an asset
  • Proficiency with a CRM, including profile management and member groups
  • Understanding of checking invoices, and expense forms for accounting
  • Experience using MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency with surveying tools (ex. Survey Monkey)
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team, but also independently
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
