Are you an experienced Extrusion Operator, with excellent communication skills, mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools such as calipers and micrometers? Adecco wants to hear from you!

Adecco is currently working with a client in the Orangeville area, recruiting for two Extrusion Operator positions. These positions are required to work continental (12 hour) shifts, 7-7, 84 hours biweekly, working approx. 14 days in the month – 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off includes every other weekend.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of various machines/equipment (extrusion lines, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders), quality control, basic housekeeping, and troubleshooting.

The role includes initial line set up and change overs, responsible for detailed completion of all on line, QC and production data reporting, blend materials and load hoppers to meet product specifications, perform mechanical and physical testing using calipers and other measurement processes, communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety metrics.

SOME QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical background
- Experience working with plastic extrusion equipment
- Experience with quality control
- Self directed, goal-oriented, customer focused, reliable and punctual individual, - - --  -- Dedicated team player with a willingness to learn new processes, ability to create solutions to address production and efficiency related issues
