Adecco is currently looking for a Facilities Coordinator to work with a well-established client in the Real Estate industry in Vancouver for a temporary contract.

We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate for the Facilities Coordinator role will come with outstanding interpersonal and communications skills.

 

Facilities Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine site walks, record and track the condition of physical assets in files and ticket tracking system.
  • Coordinate services with vendors and Facilities partners
  • Routine services and special projects based on scope provided by Facilities Manager
  • Deliver positive and effective customer service to on-site employees and local business units while maintaining the integrity of corporate standards
  • Communicate with Facilities Manager or Assistant Facilities Manager for all applicable maintenance, service and operational items.
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with on-site Executive admins and business leaders
  • Maintain daily awareness of on-site special events, fire drills, moves, vendor partner and business unit activities by communicating with vendors and partners and communicating with facilities team
  • Daily use of email, cell phone, text messaging, video conferencing to maintain reliable connections across the team
  • Provide administrative support for keeping site papers or building information page current
  • Provides filing and necessary record keeping.
  • Assist with various special projects and other administrative duties as required
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

    Facilities Coordinator qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent real estate work experience
  • Meet highest attendance and punctuality requirements
  • On occasion, perform physical inspections which may require the ability to walk long distances, climb up/down stairs and/or ladders, and access restrictive openings as part of regular facility inspections.
  • Develop and maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with poise and diplomacy
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Possess excellent grammatical and proofreading abilities
  • Exchange ideas, information, and opinions with others to formulate policies and programs and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions, or solutions.
  • Demonstrate advanced competence with a variety of software including Microsoft Office, MS Outlook and Sharepoint
