Our client is currently hiring for a Facilities Manager in Toronto, ON.

Facilities Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Facility Manager is deeply involved in the everyday management of maintenance employees on the premises
The Facility Manager organizes employees into teams to meet the goals of the business and may work to develop and implement employee schedules and deal with any minor problems that arise between employees.
Responsible for complying with all local and state safety requirements for the building including employee training, facility inspections and security of the premises
Responsible for the cleanliness of the property, making sure that any vending or catering that takes place on premises meets code requirements, and managing the space in the building so that it is used efficiently.
In charge of negotiating contracts with clients and vendors who work on company property.
Responsible for managing operational costs.
Search out ways to cut costs while adequately maintaining the business premises.

Facilities Manager Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager.
Must be a proven multitasker.
Must have managerial experience and great interpersonal skills to maintain positive employee/vendor relations.
Must be able to travel between locations
Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to follow written performance and safety instructions (i.e.; WHMIS, training, policy and guidelines, etc.).

Facilities Manager Salary:

$80,000 - $90,000; Eligible for benefits based upon completion of probationary period. Paid vacation and sick days.
