Adecco is currently recruiting for a Facilities Program Manager for a 1-Year contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it.
The Facilities Program Manager will have the following responsibilities:
-    Contribute to the development of the annual team work plan;
-    Develop operational plans, prioritize and delegate work to achieve objectives;
-    Monitor and assess the condition of all Company buildings and facilities to establish a reliable assessment of the future requirements and identify risks to business continuity that might arise;
-    Establish short-term and medium-term priorities for repairs and maintenance as well as renovations and build these into multi-year plans;
-    Identify and engage contractors/service providers and monitor and review their work;
-    Monitor expenditures against budgets, identify variances and respond to over-spends;
-    Maintain an inventory of all physical assets within the facilities, including an assessment of their condition, need for repair and their likely replacement schedule to manage the assets’ life cycles;
-    Evaluate the risk associated with project investments to ensure projects are planned and funded at the right time, minimize disruption to building occupants, maintain asset value, address asset integrity and compliance issues and leverage synergies between projects to reduce costs.
The Facilities Program Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:
-    University degree or college diploma in engineering or related field;
-    10+ Years of Experience demonstrated experience of progressively responsible and relevant facilities management;
-    Demonstrated experience managing projects, including construction projects;
-    Demonstrated ability with problem-solving in relation to building systems and infrastructure;
-    Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver on business commitments;
-    Demonstrated experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders;
-    Knowledge of applicable codes and standards;
-    Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Products Suite;
-    English essential, French will be considered an asset.
