Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Field Business Administrator, to work at a well-established integrated oil and natural gas company, in Grande Prairie, AB. In this role, you will assist with the ongoing day to day Elmworth/Wapiti administrative requests originating both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Citrix applications and Microsoft Office and is able to access the accuracy/completeness of data. If you have what it takes, apply now!

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Finance, Audit and Business Analyst Teams
  • Review and/or approve Operations invoices
  • Perform records management and file retention - "E-filing", and hard copy
  • Prepare spreadsheets, presentations and forms for operations staff
  • Take minutes for meetings as required
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete / share duties as required to ensure team results are achieved
  • Attend monthly Safety Meetings
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED program is required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at a conventional O&G facility with an exposure to all areas of operations
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas operations terminology is preferred
  • Understanding of professional office procedures is required
  • Experience with financial, SAP and FDC computer applications is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. is a must
  • Strong communication skills and aptitude for detail, disciplined work ethic and the ability to take initiative as well as to accept direction
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a multi-faceted work environment and is comfortable performing under tight deadlines
  • Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
  • Must be legally eligible to work full-time and reside in Canada
