Adecco is currently hiring for a Field Service Technician Job in Edmonton, AB. To be considered for the Field Service Technician role, you must have previous mechanical and/or maintenance experience, great problem solving ability and attention to detail.  Our client is an international manufacturer recruiting for a full time Technician to install, repair and service their equipment on client sites and in their facility.

They are offering a great benefits package which includes paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, and benefits. Compensation for this role is between $22.00-25.00/hr depending on experience.  You are also paid for several additional hours of overtime each week and you will be given a company truck to travel to client sites.

Field Service Technician Requirements:

  • Perform maintenance, servicing and repair on customer equipment
  • Effectively communicating with customers and co-workers regarding repair/maintenance requirements
  • Managing reports and expenses


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of industry experience where you were responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment
  • Technical background
  • Experience with welding
  • Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Advanced communication skills in both written and verbal English
  • Willing to travel up to 25% out of town
  • Candidates MUST be able to pass a physical and drug test
