Adecco is currently recruiting for a File Clerk (Tax administrator) in Toronto, ON for a top insurance company client. This Is a 1-week contract and pays $16.25/hr.

The ideal candidate must- be Organized, thorough and work well under pressure

Start Date:          2/21/19

End Date:            2/28/19

The candidate will receive time and a half for working Saturday and Sunday.

Hours:   8:30am to 5:00pm

File Clerk (Tax administrator) Responsibilities:

Responsible for sorting through 1000s of tax slips and combining them by household/client for mailing.

  • Thorough, timely and professional
  • Meeting measurements on accuracy, volume, and turn-around times
  • Interact with internal employees in order to find appropriate information
  • Being able to handle extreme volumes of work with high stress levels, little supervision and in a compact timeframe
  • Responsible for assisting the Taxation team, by providing support to yearend tax process and tracking.
  • Meeting measurements on accuracy and published mailing dates
  • Interact with multiple internal employees in order to meet production standards
  • Assisting Tax Team with implementation which would include such items as: sorting of tax slips, mail logging and distribution.

File Clerk (Tax administrator) Education: Preferably they should have at least college degree

File Clerk (Tax administrator) Experience:

- Actively listening and understanding

- Research and investigation

 

Who will the incumbent report to (title)? Director, Investment Counsel Services

Is there any OT required? Potentially work on February 23rd & 24th (Saturday & Sunday)

Is there a possibility of extension or converting to FTE? No

When do you plan to start interviewing? Beginning of February

Is there parking available on the worksite? Is there a cost for the parking? No parking available, very accessible by TTC (Bloor & Sherbourne station)
