Adecco is currently seeking a motivated Finance & Administration Manager who takes initiative and is looking to advance their career in a construction-based company in Mississauga, ON.
Finance & Administration Manager Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day running of the Administration/Accounting team. Work closely with members of the Project Management team and the entire organization.
Plan, implement and maintain all administrative procedures and systems and find new ways to streamline processes.
Ensure procedures and systems are adhered to.
Oversee and coordinate IT requests and required services with outsourced IT partner.
Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
Project manage company improvement projects set on by management and developed within the Administration team.
Perform monthly/quarterly financial reporting and analysis including financial statements, project reporting and budget & variance reporting.
Maintain all financial schedules including insurance, prepaids and amortization and perform monthly adjusting entries.
Oversee month-end close checklist to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Provide ongoing support and coaching to the Administration/Accounting team.
Complete yearly insurance renewal process.
Support implementation, migration or upgrades of financial/operational systems

Finance & Administration Manager Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Finance and Administration Manager
Strong administrative skill-sets and motivation to take the initiative
Strong interpersonal and people management skills
Strong project management skill-sets
Proficient experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and MS Office (especially Excel) is required
Previous experience in a construction-based company is a plus
Must have previous experience in accounting related to the duties & responsibilities set out in this job posting
Professional, organized, diligent and a logical thinker

Finance & Administration Manager Compensation:

Base Salary: 80K-90K annually (based on experience level)
Vacation: 4 weeks paid, 5 pto/sick days
Benefits: Full benefits package upon completion of probationary period
