Adecco is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant - Bilingual. This is a full-time permanent role to work with our client located in Gatineau, QC. Under the supervision of the Controller, the Finance Assistant - Bilingual must prepare the various financial reports to meet the management needs of the company. Moreover, he/she will be responsible for the management of invoices and receivables cycles, the preparation of financial statements and annual budget reports.
The Finance Assistant - Bilingual will have the following responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial reports for management and other related documentations;
  • Manage the files accordingly;
  • Establish and follow-up on different billings;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of annual budget reports;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of end-of-year files;
  • Collaborate on the preparation of the monthly financial statements;
  • Collaborate in achieving the objectives set by management;
  • Participate in committees and meetings related to the finance department;
  • Perform other related duties requested by management.
The Finance Assistant - Bilingual must meet the following mandatory requirements:
  • A college or university degree in accounting, finance, business or a related academic background
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting field or in a similar role in finance;
  • Must be bilingual – French/English;
  • Proficient use of MS Office (expert usage of Excel) and financial management software;
  • Knowledge of HOPEM software is considered as a strong asset;
  • Details oriented;
  • Team player.
