Adecco is currently hiring for a Finance Coordinator (Fixed Assets Associate) in Cambridge, ON. To qualify for this Finance Coordinator position, you must have strong technical accounting knowledge in Fixed Assets and proficiency in MS Excel.

Our client is a large, reliable and reputable organization within the multinational food, snack, and beverage industry. This Finance Coordinator role is a 1.5 months contract and has a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Finance Coordinator Responsibilities:
•Accountable for fixed assets maintenance: ensure accurate & timely execution of project set-up
•Provide key financial insight to Fixed Assets analyst, project managers, and field stakeholders.
•Resolve AP inquiries such as invoice discrepancies and payments issues
•Assist Fixed Asset analyst with process improvements and other project related admin work •Contribute to improve processes, procedures and tools utilized by the team
•Prepare closure documents disposals and asset for capitalization
•Prepare periodic Frito & Quaker bank reconciliations
•Maintain Project Tracker

Finance Coordinator Qualifications:
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Excel required
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience using Oracle and MFGPro a plus
• Ability to work independently handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Capacity to work with offshore partners such as IBM and drive process improvements
• Aptitude to quickly analyze data, assess issues and risks and propose recommendations
• Accounting/Finance Diploma/Degree preferred
