Our client, a private wealth company, is hiring a Financial Administrator to join their team on a full time permanent basis. You’ll be working out of their transit friendly office in Vancouver, BC.

As this position revolves around the Toronto Stock Exchange, candidates must be available to start work at 5am. This role is suited to someone with a brokerage or financial background.

Financial Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Review and process trades and balancing the budget
  • Prepare budgets, maintain reports on financial metrics and cheque runs
  • Reporting on investments, return on assets and growth rates
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments
  • Identify and address account discrepancies
  • Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)

Financial Administrator Requirements

  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Broker Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, like QuickBooks
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
  • Time-management and organization skills
